Sleder’s Family Tavern is pleased to announce the next performance in their ongoing ‘on the porch’ concert series featuring the talented folk duo, Saldaje. Saldaje” is inspired by the Portuguese expression of intense, often nostalgic longing, a fitting title for “The darkest ukulele band in Northern Michigan”. Brad Aspey of IPR celebrated their music with these words: “The duo conveys the feeling of a traveling show from a 19th century Gypsy caravan”. The concert is set for Sunday evening May 31st at Sleder’s Family Tavern. Sleder’s ‘On the Porch’ concert series showcases performers in a concert in a club setting with musicians performing their own original music.
Saldaje will be opening for Victoria Vox at the Lansing Mighty Uke Day, May 8-10, (link below) on the Saturday schedule.
Also…save the date for a special May 31st Sleder’s Front Porch Concert featuring Saldaje, details soon!
